Ultimate Hour opened with the fully-realized Lifeblood Initiative. This seven-person faction has taken control of PSA, and they have made it clear that no one is safe. Warren demands excellence, and he will send his loyal followers after anyone that gets in the way of PSA’s future. This is why Dynamite and JX2 attacked The Disciples at Now or Never; they are a symbol of the past, and it’s time for them to evolve or go extinct. Warren’s right hand woman, Brittany Blake, also added that with the Debt Collector in her possession, she will ensure that only the best competitors will be PSA Women’s World Champion. Will PSA flourish under The Lifeblood Initiative, or is this the beginning of the end?
Sir Alex Westworthy was eager to win his Ultimate Hour debut, but the expression on his face shifted when he realized that his opponent was Bruno Bolousek. “The Blood Hunter” hadn’t been seen since Finest Hour, and it was clear that he had some pent-up aggression as a result. After planting Westworthy with the Bolousek Bomb, Bruno locked in the Mark of the Allmother to pass out his opponent with ease.
Next, we heard from one of the best tag teams in PSA history, The Owskis. Like Andrew and Josh mentioned at Now or Never, they are on a quest to recapture the PSA Tag Team Championship. However, they can’t go after them just yet, as they need to face some other teams first before they’ll be ready to go after the Gold. Right as they said this, they were interrupted by The Beautiful Boys. Curtis and Hale praised The Owskis for paving the way for them, and they would be honored to step in the ring with them next. The veterans eagerly accepted this challenge, and it was announced later in the evening that The Beautiful Boys and The Owskis will face off at Carnival of Conquest!
Cheese Louise and Janice Janet squared off in singles action. They had a back-and-forth encounter, but all it took was one Pasteurizer to secure the win for the JCA’s newest member. After the match, Louise called out the PSA Women’s World Champion, Heather N. Marcus, for a Title match at Carnival of Conquest! Not only that, but the rest of the Jonsun Culinary Academy want to face Corwin.. and Adam for the PSA Tag Team Title at this event; how will the Champions respond?
Hernando Muertes, who made his return to PSA in an incredible match at Now or Never, was asked to address his opponent: Rasgón. “The Ace of the Damned” gave his respect to “The Grim Ripper,” as it isn’t easy to win your debut match on a Special Event. However, Muertes noted that one win doesn’t make a star. To prove who truly is the better man, he laid out the challenge for the first Best of 7 Series in PSA history! Will Rasgón accept?
Next, Ashes of the Spear came down to ring to celebrate their respective victories at Finest Hour and Now or Never. Tara and Drew Pender were ecstatic to be the Roster Roulette and PSA Hardcore Champion, and Hayley promised that it would not be long before she had Gold around her waist once again. Unfortunately, their celebration was cut short by Champions of the Sea, who are determined to help Swashbucklin’ Sheri regain the RR Title. The tension between these alliances was reaching a boiling point, so Johnny Warren scheduled an impromptu mixed tag team match of Dave and Sheri vs Tara and Drew!
Champions of the Sea took the fight to Ashes of the Spear, but the contest kicked into another gear when the teams’ respective managers, Spack Jarrow and Hayley, were ejected from ringside. As the two left, everyone was surprised to see Leonard Lopez come down to the ring. Drew began yelling at Lopez to leave, which gave Dave the perfect opportunity to hit him with a diving Cannonball over the top rope; Sheri took advantage of this distraction by getting the pinfall victory with a Cannonball of her own! Can Sheri become a three-time Roster Roulette Champion?
As Leonard Lopez smirked his way to the back, he passed his best friend and PSA World Champion, Keith! Formerly known as “Mr. Lose Guy,” Keith revealed that this was the perfect time for a rebrand. From here on out, he simply wants to be known as “Mr. Guy!” Keith is grateful for the PSA Faithful’s support over the years, and he is ready to defend the PSA World Championship against any and all challengers! As he raised the Title, however, he was ambushed by Samuel Binglebottom. These two have a storied history with one another, and it looks like the next chapter is going to be written very soon.
The Main Event of Ultimate Hour was a 3 Way match between TYSON, Pletch, and Mark Cooper Jr., with the winner challenging for the PSA Hardcore Championship at Carnival of Conquest. In this fun matchup that had MCII as a major highlight, TYSON pinned a distracted Pletch with the Dome Driver after his mystery box, which was sitting at ringside, moved on its own. What could possibly be inside?
