We kicked off Carnival of Conquest with a tag team showdown between The Owskis and The Beautiful Boys. In a fun opener, Andrew Frankowski hit Richard Hale with the Sandbag directly after an Owskinator to secure the victory for his team.
Next, Cheese Louise looked to topple Heather N. Marcus for the PSA Women’s World Championship. Louise held on for as long as she could, but “The Forever Champion’s” reign continued when she made Louise tap to the Face Lift.
Drew Pender put the PSA Hardcore Championship on the line in a Hardcore Classic against TYSON. After toppling his opponent with a Spear, “The Shepherd of Fire” climbed to the top rope and hit an incredible diving move called “The Touch of God” to retain the Title.
The Lifeblood Initiative and The Disciples squared off in trios action. JX2 and Cali Dynamite are going to be an unstoppable force in due time, but their lack of experience is what helped The Disciples leave with the win.
Before the Roster Roulette Championship match began, it was announced that it would feature a Special Guest Referee. To everyone’s surprise, the referee was revealed to be Spack Jarrow, who accompanied Swashbucklin’ Sheri to the ring. The PSA Faithful were sure that Sheri would walk out as the Champion, but they were all stunned when Spack hit Sheri with the Seven Seas Sunset and counted the pin for Tara’s retention!
Johnny Warren was called backstage to review important camera footage. The first feed showed Spoonman, who somehow managed to find his way into the arena. After yelling at the camera crew, Johnny Warren saw Spack Jarrow brawling with Dave, who was fighting in Sheri’s honor. Jarrow, who got the upper hand, inflicted some serious damage to “The Shellraiser” before his matchup against Leonard Lopez for the Ultimate Hour Championship. To no one’s surprise, this contest turned out to be one of the greatest matches in PSA History. Lopez hit Dave with a Jawbreaker, Spear, and Sandbag, but the Champion refused to stay down for the three-count. Dave mounted a comeback with back-to-back Bombshells, but “The Jawbreaker” kicked out as well! As Lopez went for a second Jawbreaker, Dave had just enough strength to roll-up the challenger and escape with the Gold. Although Dave is incredibly resilient, will these injuries prove to be his downfall?
The PSA Tag Team Championship was on the line between the Jonsun Culinary Academy and the team of Corwin… and Adam. Seeds of doubt were planted in Dalton Pepper a few weeks ago by Johnny Warren, but he tried not to think about it during the match itself. Despite Casual Adam unintentionally sabotaging his team at every turn, Corwin retained the Title for his duo by pinning Jeff Jonsun with Power Word Kill. After the match, the PSA Tag Team Champions were confronted by The Owskis, who have made it clear that they are going to do whatever it takes to reclaim the Gold!
The Main Event of Carnival of Conquest saw Samuel Binglebottom, who was accompanied to the ring by Brian Gobert, challenge Keith for the PSA World Championship. The history between these two has been well documented, which made the PSA Faithful expect this to be a highly competitive encounter. Unfortunately, however, this match was quite a disappointment. Regardless, Keith retained the PSA World Title with the Shock and Awe and cemented his place on the PSA roster as “Mr. Guy.”
