After his surprise attack last week, Cali Dynamite stepped in the ring with Keith to open the Anniversary Edition of Ultimate Hour. Dynamite was absolutely brutal, to the point where Keith struggled to see because his face was covered in blood. “Mr. Guy” powered through the pain, however, and he hit his opponent with the Shock and Awe to eke out the victory. As Keith celebrated this achievement, it was clear that Dynamite wasn’t happy with the way this match ended; will he seek revenge in the future?
The High Five, Ashes of the Spear, Binglebottom Industries, and The Beautiful Boys fought in this year’s PSA Tag Team Classic 4 Way Finale. The first elimination in this chaotic contest went to Hayley, who took out Maximilien Plouffe with a Spear. P-Money continued this trend by taking out Cameron Curtis with the Dropkick from Downtown. Hayley and Tara proved to be a hazardous force when they took out Richard Hale and Mob Boss Brody respectively, so Trunk and P-Money teamed up to keep things competitive. Trunk managed to take out Hayley with a running headbutt called the Wrath of Nature, and P-Money rolled-up Tara to narrow it down to two final competitors. It could’ve gone either way, but Trunk hit a second Wrath of Nature and the Flying Bear on P-Money to earn The High Five a PSA Tag Team Championship match against The Owskis at Halloween from Hell!
The High Five were on top of the world following their PSA Tag Team Classic victory, but their celebration was cut short by the appearance of Montana Malibu. He told the PSA Faithful that his loss to Shoot-Out Sheri was a fluke, and he even dared someone to come face him right now so he could prove that he is the best wrestler in the company. To his surprise, this challenge was accepted by “The Titan,” Maria Phoenix. She was ready for a match right now, but it was obvious that Malibu didn’t expect anyone to come out here and face him directly. He claimed that tonight was too action-packed to fit in another match, but he will gladly step in the ring with Phoenix on next week’s episode of Ultimate Hour. Who will win?
As Maria Phoenix made her way back up the ramp, she passed Marcee, who challenged Brittany Blake for the PSA Women’s World Championship next. These two have a long-standing rivalry, and this chapter was just as thrilling as ever. Marcee gave it her all, but Blake proved herself as the rightful Champion when she defeated her opponent with the Onyx Storm.
Johnny Warren, along with Ben Richards, came down to the ring to confront Hernando Muertes, who will be the next challenger to the PSA World Championship. He started by commending Muertes for doing exactly what “The Lifeblood” wants people to do: he reinvented himself. “The Ace of the Damned” is a completely different person compared to his first run in PSA, and that is exactly why Johnny Warren brought him back. He told Muertes that he isn’t quite ready to be World Champion yet, but Warren is happy to give him this kind of spotlight on one of the biggest events of the year. Muertes admitted that he struggled for a long time with his identity, but now that he has found his true self, he is eager to become a Champion by defeating one of the greatest talents in PSA history. Richards mocked the #1 Contender for being a habitual failure, so Muertes simply challenged him to a match to prove it. “The Youngblood” didn’t seem interested in this proposal, but Warren was intrigued and made the match official for next week!
The Main Event of Ultimate Hour Anniversary Edition saw Goldielox, J-Mike, and Drew Pender compete for the Ultimate Hour Championship. This was a highly competitive showdown, with all three men having their pin attempts broken by another. The biggest victim of this was Goldielox, who had the match won several times before it was stopped by one of the other wrestlers. In the end, Drew Pender managed to retain the Title when he threw “The Gilded Greatness” out of the ring and got the pinfall on an incapacitated J-Mike instead. During Pender’s celebration, the screen on stage changed to reveal the return of Casual Adam, who made it clear that he wants a shot at the Ultimate Hour Championship! No one knows how this match will affect the morale of Ashes of the Spear, but for now they have a new target in the form of Drew’s “old friend.”
We kicked off Ultimate Hour with The Owskis’ first PSA Tag Team Championship defense against VolTYSON. Both teams are deservedly at the top of this division, but in the end Andrew pinned Voltand with the Owskinator to retain the Title.
As The Owskis were celebrating their status as “real” Champions, they were joined by the four teams that could face them next in a PSA Tag Team Classic Summit. Ashes of the Spear are confident they will walk out on top, while The Beautiful Boys claim they are the sleeper picks. The High Five are eager to earn a Tag Team Championship match, but this was overshadowed by the constant bickering between P-Money and Mob Boss Brody, who are hoping they can put this aside during next week’s 4 Way Finale. Who will win the PSA Tag Team Classic?
Cruella Castonova defended the Roster Roulette Championship against Janice Janet in an Iron Woman match. Janet was bold to issue this challenge after being injured by Castonova only 2 months ago, but it was clear that she wasn’t ready to return to in-ring action yet. After retaining the Title 2-0 with consecutive Obsidian Furies, the Champion put Janet through the announce table with the Nova Bomb to make it clear to the rest of the locker room that she means business.
Next, Marcee spoke about her upcoming PSA Women’s World Championship match with Brittany Blake. She started by admitting that she hasn’t been viewed as a Main Event-Level star in recent years, and part of that is her fault for taking a back seat. However, she was the inaugural PSA Women’s World Champion, and next week on the Anniversary Edition of Ultimate Hour, she’s going to prove that she’s just as talented as ever when she beats Blake and becomes Champion once again! Can Marcee pull it off?
Before Drew Pender defends the Ultimate Hour Championship against J-Mike and Goldielox next week, he teamed up with them to take on Binglebottom Industries’ Lochlan, Mark Cooper Jr., and The Great Rapsby. The new trio had incredible chemistry, and Goldielox got the win for his team by pinning Rapsby with the Midas Touch. Goldielox, Pender, and J-Mike were all on the same page tonight, but how will they act when they fight for the UH Title?
The PSA Faithful were thrilled to see Keith, who hasn’t been seen since he lost the PSA World Championship at Ground Zero IV. “Mr. Guy” thanked the fans for not forgetting about him, and he revealed that he actually considered stepping away from PSA after losing to Johnny Warren. However, not only would he be letting himself down, but he’d be letting down his best friend, Leonard Lopez, who did not deserve to be fired. Keith’s out for vengeance, and he’s going to get it when he takes out all of The Lifeblood Initiative and gets the PSA World Championship back on someone the people love! The PSA Faithful cheered, but this quickly turned to boos when Cali Dynamite ran in from the crowd for a surprise ambush. Dynamite warned Keith that declaring war on The Lifeblood Initiative was a huge mistake, and he’s going to prove it next week.
Jeff Jonsun, Hernando Muertes, Rasgón, Shawn Westin fought in Contendership Carnage, with the winner facing Johnny Warren at Halloween from Hell for the PSA World Championship. Westin started off hot when he eliminated Rasgón with the Breakaway at ringside, and Muertes continued this momentum when he took out Jonsun with the Scythe of Salvation. With only two men remaining, “The Ace of the Damned” earned his date with destiny when he pinned Westin following a Super Graveyard Overdrive. When Hernando Muertes and Johnny Warren meet in the ring next week, what will the Director of PSA say to his next challenger?
To celebrate their multiple victories at Ground Zero IV, The Lifeblood Initiative came out to open Ground Zero IV. Johnny Warren noted that what he did to Doctor Phase at Fallout was a necessity, as the past must die in order for the future to flourish. As such, his next challenger will be determined in a Contendership Carnage match. The first two participants will be Hernando Muertes and Rasgón, who both made a name for themselves at Ground Zero IV. Before Warren could reveal the next entrant, he was interrupted by Shawn Westin, Dean Cottonsmith, and Janice Janet. Westin pointed out that since he beat Ben Richards at Ground Zero IV, he is more than deserving of a spot in Contendership Carnage. Not only that, but since Cruella Castonova took out Janice Janet a few weeks ago, she wants her vengeance next week in a match for the Roster Roulette Championship. Warren reluctantly gave Westin and Janet what they wanted, but not before announcing that Richards will get another chance to enter Contendership Carnage when he faces Jeff “The Chef” Jonsun later tonight. As The Lifeblood Initiative wrapped up in the ring, they were interrupted by Marcee, who told Brittany Blake that it’s been years since they’ve wrestled one-on-one, but there’s no better time to run it back than the Anniversary Edition of Ultimate Hour for the PSA Women’s World Championship. Blake agreed, but right now she steps in the ring with Council of M’s Macho Mars!
In the match between Brittany Blake and Macho Mars, “The Gold Mine” proved why she is the Champion when she defeated her opponent with a single Onyx Storm. Will Marcee suffer the same fate, or will we see a new PSA Women’s World Champion?
After squashing Montana Malibu at Fallout, the PSA Faithful were eager to learn what is next for Shoot-Out Sheri. She doesn’t know what the future holds just yet, but she did say that she is on the hunt for a new posse. Who will Shoot-Out Sheri align herself with?
Now that he is officially a member of both the PSA Roster and Ashes of the Spear, J-Mike faced off with Binglebottom Industries’ Lochlan. The two had a competitive matchup, but Drew Pender’s presence at ringside was the boost J-Mike needed to get the win. After the match, Goldielox came down to the ring demanding a reason for their help at Fallout. Drew Pender explained that he has wanted to expand Ashes of the Spear for a while, and Goldielox and J-Mike were the two names at the top of his list. He talked about this with Goldielox a couple months ago, but helping him out last week was an easy way to bring the conversation back up. Goldielox wasn’t convinced, arguing that Drew’s only doing this to protect his Ultimate Hour Championship from the Debt Collector. “The Shepherd of Fire” promised that’s not the case, and to prove it he offered Goldielox a shot at the UH Title if he joined Ashes of the Spear right now. The allure of the Championship was enough to get “The Gilded Greatness” to accept, but J-Mike reminded Drew that he joined Ashes of the Spear out of mutual respect; does he get a Title shot as well? Looking to keep the peace, Drew Pender frantically announced that he will defend against both Goldielox and J-Mike at Ultimate Hour Anniversary Edition!
Jeff Jonsun and Ben Richards competed for the final spot in next week’s Contendership Carnage. “The Youngblood” was confident that he would leave on top, so he decided to mess around with his opponent for the majority of the match. As Richards got serious and went for the Bloodshed, however, Jonsun reversed it into the Flapjack to pick up a shock win! As Richards stomped out in a fit of anger, Jonsun set his sights to next week; can “The Chef” earn a shot at the PSA World Championship?
Next, the PSA Faithful welcomed the new PSA Tag Team Champions, The Owskis! Andrew was thankful for the warm welcome, but it was clear that something was bothering Josh. Grabowski explained that although he is happy to be a Champion, he won’t feel like one until they successfully defend the Title in a true tag team match. This statement brought out the former PSA Tag Team Champions, VolTYSON. They were upset that they didn’t get a chance to win the PSA Tag Team Classic two years in a row, so they went straight to the source and demanded a shot at the Title. Eager to prove themselves, The Owskis agreed to defend the Gold next week!
In our Main Event, Binglebottom Industries and The Disciples fought for the final spot in this year’s 4 Way Finale. Samuel Binglebottom forced P-Money and Mob Boss Brody to compete in the tournament together, and it seemed to pay off here. After taking out Drov with the Dropkick from Downtown, P-Money and Brody hit the Money Maker on Draco to win the match. Will Binglebottom Industries win the PSA Tag Team Classic?
The first event of Season 13 kicked off with a match between Maria Phoenix and La Biblioteca. Both women desperately wanted this win, and that was evident in their competitive contest. Biblioteca’s resilience helped her kick out of a Super Wicked Inferno, but Phoenix simply picked her back up and hit another one to get a victory over a tough opponent.
The High Five’s Maximilien Plouffe and Trunk continued their rivalry with Council of M when they faced Macho Mars and Mega Marc in a PSA Tag Team Classic Opener. This match was intense, but in the end Plouffe pinned Marc after landing the High Striker to advance his team to the 4 Way Finale.
After losing to Bruno Bolousek earlier this summer, Sir Alex Westworthy wanted to prove himself inside the Hunter’s Haven and walk out PSA Hardcore Champion. Westworthy did significantly better in this showdown than he did in their first match, but that was not enough to stop “The Blood Hunter” from giving the challenger a crimson mask and tapping him out with the Mark of the AllMother to retain the Gold.
Goldielox and Samuel Binglebottom duked it out in a rematch, and this time it was in Last Man Standing! All weapons were fair game, and both men used them to their advantage. As Goldielox climbed the top rope, Binglebottom grabbed a steel chair to throw at his opponent. “The Gilded Greatness” was quicker than he expected, however, and Goldielox hit the Midas Touch from the Top Rope into the chair to knock out S.O.B. for the count of 10. As Goldielox celebrated, Binglebottom woke up and attacked him from behind before summoning backup in the form of P-Money and Mob Boss Brody. As the trio beat down Goldielox, they were shocked to see J-Mike, now adorned in Ashes of the Spear’s black and red, appear on the ramp to make the save! Binglebottom got the upper hand, but they were soon joined in the ring by “The Shepherd of Fire,” Drew Pender. Pender made quick work of S.O.B., and then he had an uneasy staredown with Goldielox before heading back up the ramp. Why did Ashes of the Spear save Goldielox?
As Drew Pender and J-Mike left up the ramp, Hayley and Tara came out to face the Jonsun Culinary Academy’s Dalton Pepper and Cheese Louise in another PSA Tag Team Classic Opener. Tara put most of the work in for her team, but Hayley tagged her out at the last second and pinned Pepper with one Spear to get the win. Although Tara was frustrated with her sister, she was happy to earn a place in this year’s 4 Way Finale, which will take place on the Anniversary Edition of Ultimate Hour.
Shoot-Out Sheri and Montana Malibu’s long-awaited Street Fight took place next. Malibu acted all tough in the leadup to this showdown, but as soon as the bell rang, it was clear that he was completely outmatched. Sheri threw him around the ring with ease, and all it took was one Bullseye to get the win over her former lover.
After being blindsided with the Heck in a Seck stipulation at Ground Zero IV, The Owskis convinced Johnny Warren to give them another shot at the PSA Tag Team Championship. However, Warren made it clear that if they failed again, they would be banned from challenging for the Title for an entire year. The stakes were palpable, but The Owskis were ready to take down the Champions. To their surprise, however, only Casual Adam came down for this Title defense. Apparently Corwin never bothered to show up, so Adam had to fight against the challengers on his own. Andrew Frankowski didn’t like taking advantage of this scenario, but he knew that he couldn’t hold back if he wanted to become PSA Tag Team Champions with his best friend. Adam went for the Sound Check on “The Don of PSA,” but Andrew reversed it into a Sandbag and the Run-On Rundown to win the Title! Josh Grabowski was disgusted by this win, to the point that he refused to touch the Championship belt. We will hear more from the new PSA Tag Team Champions on next week’s episode of Ultimate Hour.
To celebrate the 4 year anniversary of PSA, Johnny Warren came down to the ring for a PSA World Championship Open Challenge. He had no idea who he would be facing, and this was evident when the PSA legend, Doctor Phase, answered the challenge! The PSA Faithful were ecstatic to see Phase again, but it was clear that Warren was upset that a member of the current roster wasn’t facing him instead. Doctor Phase looked impressive for not having wrestled in over 2 years, but he was no match for “The Lifeblood.” After giving the veteran a respectable performance, the Champion hit Phase with a Warhammer and a new move, called the Deathwish, to retain the PSA World Title. After the match, Warren’s frustrations finally got the better of him. He clubbed Doctor Phase in the head with the Championship, which caused him to start bleeding. The Director of PSA then hit Phase with a Warhammer to the back of the head and two more Deathwishes. Warren was ready to leave after this assault, but Doctor Phase made the biggest mistake of his life: he got back up. In a fit of blind rage, Warren ran back into the blood-soaked ring, hit the Deathwish on top of the top turnbuckle, and then hit his target with the Shatterpoint to finally put an end to the execution of Doctor Phase.
